i need help in languages in yahoo

when i chat with friend on yahoo through kepete the arabic words appear as these marks "??????????????" but english ones appear correctly
how to solve this ??

     I'm guessing that you need a font that is compatible, but just a guess. Don't see anything in Kopete that handles it.

Do you have these packages installed? :

language-support-extra-ar,
xfonts-intl-arabic
xfonts-efont-unicode

if not, install them via Synaptic or apt-get
with this command line:
sudo apt-get install xfonts-intl-arabic, xfonts-efont-unicode, language-support-extra-ar
