kget is not working

kget is unable to download even the simple URLs. I think there is some problem related to proxy as in my institute proxies have to be unabled for any sort of downloader .. but there is not any kinad of option.. plz help me ...

When asked if you want to integrate KGet with Konqueror, then set your proxy in Konqueror under Settings --> Configure Konqueror --> Proxy --> Manually specify the proxy settings.

If you don't know how to integrate KGet with Konqueror (or if you've previously chosen No, but would like to change your mind) you can find it in KGet under Settings --> Configure KGet --> Advanced.
