Is there a way to send an instant message to a person NOT on contact list with kopete?

Is there a way to send an instant message to a person not on contact list? Similar to "New message" activity with pidgin?

Hello

I dont think so.. You can send an invite to the user to a specific service provider (i.e if you are using Gtalk and if the other person is using hotmail you can send an invite to him to join gmail and subsequently gtalk) and you can add him as a buddy by hitting cntrl+B and giving his screen name i.e his email address and his local alias i.e the name you would like to be displayed on pidgin/kopete..
