WPAassistant in startup

Right now, during the login process, I get asked to enter my password for WP_supplicant and Wireless_Assistant to get into sudo mode, before I get connected to the network.

What do I need to do to get the wireless card to startup before I login?

I'm using Kubuntu and have a Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card.
