converting midi files to wav files

can anyone recommend a program for this or tell me what i might be doing wrong? i currently have timidity++ and kmid.

Give this a try if you have timidity:

1. open a terminal window (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal)
2. enter the command: timidity input.mid -Ow -o out.wav
where "input.mid" is the name of your midi file and "out.wav" is the converted wav file.
