Okular and/or xdvi in landscape

Asked by Fernando Goriano

A Latex file in which document class is said landscape and where
on the right part are some text and figures created by includegraphics
                                                ( and located there with \marginpar{ })

when the dvi file created by the compilation
                   latex "file"
and I see the dvi file with :

  Okular

the page is truncated as it was in portrait (the right part of the page is invisible)

  xdvi
a red vertical line cut the document in portrait, but with the mousse,
I can see the text on the right part the bounding boxes of the figures
and a very thin (left)part of the figure
(the one which is on the left of the vertical red line)

How can I tell Okular (or Xdvi) to give landscape view

[When the file is created by pdf latex (on my net book much slower than latex)
the pdf file appears correctly with xpdf or evince
(but I need less manipulation with evince to adjust the view to my little screen
