Okular and/or xdvi in landscape

A Latex file in which document class is said landscape and where
on the right part are some text and figures created by includegraphics
when the file created by
latex "file" with
Okular
the page is truncated as it was in portrait (the right part of the page is invisible)
xdvi
a red vertical line cut the document in portrait, but with the mousse,
I can see the text on the right part and a very thin (left)part of the figure
How can I tell Okular (or Xdvi) to give landscape view
