Problems with KDEgames PCSX and Minetest

Asked by Sergio E. Durán

Hello friends I got some problems with Minetest PCSX and the KDEgames on Kubuntu plasma5

Can not open the library usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_kmines

searching better I tried to run them manually Kubuntu% minetest and the result was = Zsh: Minetest command not found (the message also is found on bash as bash: command not found), finally searching under /usr/games I found it's executables and I have executed with not problems

The solution = copy the executable files of each packaged game from it's current place what is /usr/games to /usr/bin

This can be considered a several issue because it is a packaging problem; can you fix that and use the mentioned methods to restore the packages?

As far as I know, /usr/games should be part of your PATH setting (see also http://askubuntu.com/questions/386629/what-are-the-default-path-values )

What is the output of the terminal commands

uname -a
lsb_release -a
echo $PATH
grep PATH ~/.bashrc
grep PATH /etc/environment

Can you please provide the information that I have asked for in my previous comment, and the output of:

apt-cache policy kmines pcsxr pcsx

How did you install the KDE games?
I cannot find any package in Ubuntu that would deliver libkdeinit5_kmines, so I cannot believe that a standard Ubuntu package would depend on it.

simply sudo apt install package this error is generated because there is not the binary on bin
