Hi i'm new to kstars and am using ubuntu 9.10. Tried to use the top bar to see star names and milky way on the screen with no joy.Since i first installed it i have lost functionality with some features.Have tried to uninstall and reinstall twice with no joy am i doing something wrong ?

Its all OK, as i'm new to kstars i went back through the defaults settings returning them to default one by one and all is now OK.
Well was until i tried to reinstall my Grub !! OH S__t !!
