ktouch in Spanish

I can´t find a Spanish keyboard layout in Ktouch.
I must type an accent and my spanish keyboard can´t type it.
Please send me direction how to install the Spanish keyboard layout.

Thanks for this question.

I am not sure if you use Gnome or KDE, but since you mention Ktouch, I will give you the instructions for KDE (Kubuntu).

Open the settings application via K-Menu->System Settings.

Go to Personal->Regional & Language

Select KeyboardLayout on the left sidebar.

Enable Keyboard Layouts if this is not yet checked.

Select the Spanish keyboard layout and add it.

Click on apply.

Now you will have a small applet in your status bar next to the clock which allows you to to change between all the layouts you have configured.

If by accent you mean STRESS then you need to press (nothing appears on screen) the Key to the right of ñ, then follow this by typing the letter you want to stress, eg. ó,á.í é etc. Hope this helps.
