Kalzium - How do you use Calc?

I just downloaded and installed Kalzium but can't figure out what the Calculate utility on the sidebar does or how to use it. Can anyone help?

Hello transcend

That is a molecular calculator utility.. where you can enter formulas (like C6H12O6) to calculate their weight.
Note that this mini-tool is not a real molecule calculator, so you can not use it to calculate things like H + 2O

As a teacher I'm grossly disappointed with how inaccessible this application is for myself and for my students.

I've created a video showing the 'solution' above. I'm hoping for more videos and support from those who know how to get something out of Kalzium.
