printer/scanner problems

Hi....

I can not get my Lexmark Z750 printer or my Visioneer 4400 usb scanner hooked up. I have tried every method I know and had my son help me but we can not find the problem.....at 70 yrs old this is a disaster to me.

The printer and scanner were previously hooked into a Windows XP program before I changed over to Kontact email, etc.

Can you help me find the right configuration or secret to get this program to accept these two items.

Or can you explain the steps I must take to click here and click there to get it right?...LOL.

Unfortunately I think that neither your printer nor your scanner will work under Linux.

Can you help with this problem?
