opening application in firefox not konqueror

I want to open picasa in firefox not konqueror. Anyone know how I can do this please. Firefox is the default browser but when I am in picasa and want to work in my online albums konqueror takes me there instead! That would be ok but it won't allow me to upload from my hard drive. Ubuntu 9.04 64.KDE desktop.

Have you set firefox as the browser to use in picasa?
