I have just had this problem. I was playing about with the display control panel and fopund I was stuck with a low resolution.

I went in to admin mode and made sure all my settings were for my computer from the documentation I got with it. Video card monitor etc.

Set it all and restart. You might find that the screen size and resolution bar in the display menu is now extended. Don't go back to admin mode, change your res a bit and apply, restart and hope it works!

Can you help with this problem?
