I need to turn off the popup blocker urgently but don't know how

Asked by Tom Fisher

I am trying to print a shipping label that I have paid for with USPS but the label will not print due to the popup blocker being turned on. I want to turn it off but do not know how. I only have the rest of today to do this without losing my money.

If you are inside of Firefox, you can go to the Help menu and then click on contents. Otherwise you can press the F1 key, this will bring up the internal help files for Firefox. If you type in Popup Blocker into the search, it will bring you to the Popup Blocker Preferences page, which states:

The Popup Blocker OptionsPreferences are located in the Content panel of Tools > OptionsEdit > PreferencesFirefox > Preferences.

From there, you can do the following things:

    * Block pop-up windows: Deselect this optionpreference to
          disable the popup blocker altogether.

    * Exceptions dialog: This is a list of sites that you want to allow
to display popups. The dialog has the following choices:

o Allow: Click this to add a web site to the exceptions list.

o Remove Site: Click this to remove a web site from the exceptions list.

o Remove All Sites: Click this to remove all of the web sites in
                  the exceptions list.

Also, as a user of USPS, if you do have a problem with printing, it gives you an option to state if it has printed correctly or not, if you choose that it has not, you will not loose your money.

You may wish to refer to the USPS Frequently Asked Questions(FAQ)
https://hdusps.esecurecare.net/cgi-bin/hdusps.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=7067&p_created=1114456598&p_sid=VHQwa2wi&p_accessibility=0&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PWRmbHQmcF9ncmlkc29ydD0mcF9yb3dfY250PTYwJnBfcHJvZHM9OTIsMCZwX2NhdHM9JnBfcHY9MS45MiZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0x&p_li=&p_topview=1

I have the same question and need to let my USPS label print, except that I am not using Firefox. I am using Konqueror. How do I get the pop up blocker menu on this set up to allow me to print?

Thanks!
