Is the Lexmark 323 connected to a Windows machine?

I know I have never had any luck with my Lexmark printers and Linux. But anyways, here is how you would add a printer in Kubuntu:

KMenu -> System Settings -> Printers

Add Printer

Select how your printer is connected. If it is on a Windows computer, I suggest installing Samba first, and then editing /etc/samba/smb.conf to make network=<your workgroup>, then restart Samba by typing at the command line

sudo /etc/init.d/samba restart

Then go in and add your SMB/Samba printer connected to windows. Once you get in, it is pretty straight forward, however I did not notice a Lexmark 323 Printer, so maybe some Google love can find more information. I just Googled for "Linux" & "Lexmark 323" and got some AVI porn :) It seems the printer has been around for a few years now, so you would think there was a solution somewhere. Also Google for CUPS and read their website.

It seems this printer uses the same cartridges as the 321 and LinuxPrinting (http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Lexmark-Optra_E321) says that the printer works perfectly and oddly enough recommends using the HP Postscript driver (Lasers are "smart" printers, so basically Postscript drivers work with almost every laser).

Can you help with this problem?
