How do I setup / manage startup applications?

Asked by josephbus1

This Newbie asks:

What path leads to the startup sequence that launches applications ?

Startup always launches Freeloader; Is this useful?

Need a description as to how to manage the startup sequence.

Thx, joseph

If you are on ubuntu..

Choose System->Preferences->Sessions .

Click on the Startup Programs tab.

Use the Add, Edit, and Delete buttons to manage programs to run at startup. Some programs will automatically add themselves to this list when you configure them.
