add new hdd

i am using kubuntu in one hdd 160GB and i want to keep a partition for kubuntu 40GB and the rest i want to make two partition 60GB and 60GB for my suff.But i have another hdd 250GB i want two partition for ktorrent and movies.please help how to add the new hdd and how to make partiton.please help.thanx anticipate
