remove wine

How do I remove wine. I keep getting error messages in the update program and even though I have removed it in the console the update still tries to retrieve the files.

Could you please paste the entire error you get via console?

It sounds like you still have the wine repo's in your sources. Open software sources under system, administration and remove these repo's if listed:

deb http://wine.sourceforge.net/apt/ binary/
deb-src http://wine.sourceforge.net/apt/ source/

If this does not work, please post the error's as David Portwood requested.

Sorry to jump in here David but I just dealt with a similar problem recently.
