How do I change from KUBUNTU to UBUNTU

I have a clean installed dual GRUB installer for both WINDOWS and KUBUNTU. Whenever I pose a question the support system is familiar with UBUNTU questions but not KUBUNTU questions. So how do I revert back into UBUNTU from KUBUNTU?

Please simply to install the ubuntu-desktop package... at login you can choose from Gnome (Ubuntu) or Kde (Kubuntu)
