How can I do association for example *.htm with Firefox?

Right click html file -> open with -> open with another program.

Then select firefox and select remember this association

See this link for an example of setting the file type association for mp3s, the same type of steps should work for associated htm files to Firefox:

You should find the executable for Firefox in the /usr/bin directory.
