Asked by trusters

Hello,

Before finishing recording a screencast my computer shutdown and I ended up with two files .movie and .movie.mux.

Could you tell me how I can encode the video from these files please ?

Thank you

According to my research, the mux file is the audio. Does your recording have audio?

If you use the "file" command in the terminal, does it tell you anything about the files?

I read the source code in python of the soft .

It uses gstreamer to temporarily save in .mux then after "save" it should convert it into mp4 or whatever. The .movie is 0 Bytes.

Yes, the recording has sound but it is not essential for me
