how to update the Kaffeine scan data on the internet

Asked by Rainer

Hello together,

in Germany they switched to DVB-T2 and my Kaffeine doesn't work. After upgrading to Kaffeine 2.0.9 it still does not work. After a long time of investigation on google and my system I'm was able to receive one DVB-T2 band. But not all.

Here is how I got work one band:
- After doing "Update scan data over Internet" I edit the scan file and add:
T2 514000000 8MHz AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO 0
behind [dvb-t/de-Nordrhein-Westfalen]

Now I was able to do channel search and found stations. Adding more frequency's gave no result. It may be that I must check the parameters. I will do it and update this FAQ with the results.

Now to my question:
How to change the official "Update scan data over Internet" source. Is there an info email of the maintainer.
Who will update the scan data with the new German DVB-T2 infos?

Thanks and regards Rainer
