Extreme newbie ! I would appreciate a walkthrough for running NHL radio (runs on Win Media Player). Thank you.

URL for NHL radio is: http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=page&page=Radio

That is for radio. Then you choose the game you want and it connects you to that stream. It only runs in Media Player, but there must be a way to run it in Linux. Thank you.

try to open it in totem - it worked for me with this stream perfectly :)

also try to type

mplayer (stream_url)

in console

of course replace stream url with a proper url stream, edning for e with .pls etc
