"I have installed all suggested plug ins , packages, commands..."
→ libdvdcss2 too? - https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats/PlayingDVDs

Try to start e.g. totem via terminal, try to play DVD and send error output.

Totem still says are you tring to play dvd without libdvdcss? but I have installed libdvdcss2
I hve installed packages for gxine as well and I get error reading from dvd
and kaffeine says maybe you don't have enough rights for this, or source does'nt contain data

Are you sure the DVD is OK? Try to run it at another computer (DVD player)...

Try to install VLC - it's very good video player and I have never problems play DVDs with that...

Can you help with this problem?
