"Unable to open file /tmp/kde-<username>/k9copy..." in k9copy

Asked by Nytehawq

I installed k9copy 1.2.2 from source in Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon). When I try to make a back up of a DVD I get the following error: "Unable to open file /tmp/kde-username/k9copy/dvd/VIDEO_TS/VTS_25_1.VOB". Anyone have any idea what is causing this or how to correct?

Sorry all. Stupid noob mistake. New at using k9copy. Turns out the directory is a setting under Settings => Configure k9copy => DVD . I just had to either change it to a current directory where I have write permissions or create a new directory where I have write permission.
