Can you please add k9copy to the repositories again? At least to this ppa or medibuntu, if not in multiverse.

You are invited to act as new maintainer of that package, or to create your own ppa, or to just download the source and compile the program yourself.
For raring I found a ppa with a 2.3.7-1 version: https://launchpad.net/~thopiekar/+archive/raring-dev you might try that one.
