What is with k3b on 9.10? When will it become stable. I use it all the time

I use K3B all the time, I think it is one of the best burners, converters etc..all in one. Now when I get to to ubuntu 9.10, it seems to be a development version. Correct me if I'm wrong. It's very sensitive and the curser won't stop spinning all the while I'm trying to use it. Can anyone comment on the 9.10 version, I'm apprehensive about using it?
