Hello,

You probably need to install the libdvdcss2 package.

Hi,

I have the same problem, even ripping unprotected DVDs. As I have the library, this is not the solution.
I am still looking for a solution.

I also have the same problem. Other than a non-functioning "Rip Video DVD..." menu item, I can't find any dialog or parameter whatsoever relating to Ripping DVDs in K3b. The K3b Handbook has no mention of it either. I found several things on the Internet that say to right click (RMB) on the largest .vob file and right click to bring up a pop-up menu, then click "Copy", but "Copy" does not exist on the RMB menu.

Apparently K3b is not compiled with libdvdread-dev:

After compiling K3b with libdvdread-dev, it works as expected.

Can you help with this problem?
