k3b package

k3b fails altogether

Hi there I am a newbie so maybe missing the obvious...installed k3b and it appears in the applications list however fails to do anything once clicked.

Ive reinstalled it twice and nothing! I need this to burn on dvd as brassero doesnt seem to work with the codecs i have.

this is 64 AMD Jaunty. thanks in advance

My k3b works without a problem but I do not have 64 bit system. Have you tried to install ubuntu-restricted-extras and w64codecs packages? You can also try gnomebaker application. You can learn the error with k3b application by running k3b from terminal.
