k3b package

in k3b I have no fonts just the tittle and the icons

when I click on a icon a window open but without font in it to tell me what it's for and when I try to burn the window that open up the burn command button is not active

Hi Jean,

Check to see if you have the same problem on an OpenOffice worksheet. If you do, this could be graphics card... The only thing you have to do is lower the configuration under appearance preferences/Visual Effects tab (normal instead of extra, or none instead of normal).

Sorry Rui I didn't answer any faster I had to get out of town, I just want to say that in office worksheet everything is fine.

Hi Jean,

I guess you're probably using the Gnome environment, while K3b is a KDE specific application, it works great under Kubuntu, but with the "normal" Ubuntu you have to install some KDE libraries in order to make it work.
Try this:
Go to System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager and type "K3B" on the searchbox.
If there are any libraries missing they'll show up and you should mark all for installation.
Let me know if it works.
