the k3b GUI (inc fonts) is too large for my screen-can I shrink it?

Asked by adam carver

After installing 8.04 my machine defaulted to KDE (instead of my preferred Gnome) desktop. I removed KDE and reinstalled Gnome but now the K3b GUI is too large for my screen and uses huge fonts (everything else works fine).

I tried removing and reinstalling but with no luck.

(this is not an issue of dragging the edges of the GUI to the centre)

Is there anyway to shrink the k3b guis?

TIA

PS - I have 8.04 on another machine and here K3b looks and works just fine

thanks to a colleague... removed .kde directory from home & rebooted. A reinstall of k3b resulted in complete resolution.
