how do i burn a regular dvd, not a data dvd, with k3b?

i got an error bcuz some packages that i need installed are installing because of broken packages when i have updates in adept

Depends on what your burning - If you have a audio/video dvd structure folder - then it's video dvd. If you have a DVD.iso image, under "further actions" - burn DVD iso image.

You'll need either devede, or tovidgui

Just sudo apt-get install them

Paste the relevant error messages. You could try apt-get update, apt-get upgrade first - Synaptic has a "fix broken packages" option also.
