From the "Tools" menu at the top select "Copy CD" or "Copy DVD" depending on what you want to copy. You will get a window with 3 tabs: Options, Image and Advanced. At the "Options" tab, check the box "Only create image". At the "Image" tab you can select the location of where you want to save the image.

hi there, one year after...!!!
I still have this question... when I choose this option (only create image) a .img file is created or a directory (with the contents of the cd - trying to make an iso from a cd not dvd), depending the "copy mode" option, but not an .iso file....
Is this some kind of a bug or this is how things work and I am missing something....
thank you

I have the files on my HD in a directory structure (AUDIO_TS. VIDEO_TS, etc.) I want to create a .ISO image file from this without first burning them to a DVD. Can I do this?

Never mind. I managed to get media pointed to my directory.
Took me a little while to figure out what I had just done so I could repeat it.

1 Select the folder with files to be imaged
2 Select Burn from Project Tab
3 As above: You will get a window with 3 tabs: Options, Image and Advanced. At the "Options" tab, check the box "Only create image". At the "Image" tab you can select the location of where you want to save the image.
