dvd from an iso image

I download ubuntu iso image and I try to create a bootable dvd disk using K3B, but the program copy only the image ?!

Can you Help me ?

Are you using Ubuntu (or Kubuntu) now? If so, just right click the .iso you downloaded and click write to disk. It will burn the cd image to cd or dvd. You want to burn the image if you want a bootable live cd. If I misunderstood your question please clarify.

In K3b, you must not drag the .iso file into a project. Double-clicking the file instead will either bring up the ISO burning dialog or one that asks whether you cant to add the file to your current project or to burn the image directly. You will want to burn the image directly. After you've done so, the CD should be the full image.
