k3b package

howto burn ape cue cd with k3b

1. I am a new newbie, so please have patience
2. I can't burn an audio cd with k3b from two files, one ape and one cue. ( I probably only need a plugin but do not know which. I couldn't find anything useful either in the net or here. (Probably just not able to :)) )

I use gutsy kubuntu.

First install build-essential meta package

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo apt-get update;
sudo apt-get install build-essential

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Thanks for everything.

Probably my system functioned well in the first place; my problem was that I simply IGNORED how to do it.

The correct answer for my question (and for anyone at my low, low level, interested) would have been:
1. select the option "burn cd image"
2. choose the "cue" file

Obviously the "cue" file did not work because I had selected the "burn audio cd" option.

Thank you anyway, it's nice to be overestimated every now and then :))).
