Ubuntu program K3b to split a .FLAC audio file that has a .CUE file using K3b's "convert tracks" feature.

Asked by Energizor

If I use the Ubuntu program K3b to split a .FLAC audio file that has a .CUE file using K3b's convert tracks feature, will that hurt the audio quality of the split .FLAC tracks? I think K3b's "convert tracks" feature "re-encodes" the large .FLAC file into smaller .FLAC files, rather than simply "splitting" the large .FLAC file.

Thank you.
