live cd has wireless but install doesn't

When I use the live cd I can go to additional drivers and it will find my wireless card, but on the install it wont. Is there a way to move the driver from the cd to the harddrive and if so which folders do I look in and what file do I look for?

It would be a good idea to tell us what find of card you are using.
Please post the outout of the command:
lspci; lsusb

Okay...Home from work and ran the additional drivers from the system menu WITH a lan line plugged in. All works now. Thanks though
