Newer package soon? jedit (4.3~pre16.dfsg-0ubuntu1)

I am planning to make an Ubuntu package which is dependent on jEdit but I need to know if you are planning to soon do a jEdit pre17 or pre 18 version of this ubuntu package. Some of the items I want to use will need a newer version of jEdit then the pre16 version.

Most of the work on this package was done by Daniel Hahler (https://launchpad.net/~blueyed), so I suggest you ask him directly.
