jre package Iceweasel java plugin link

Asked by Carlos Pasqualini

Hi!

i'm using Debian wheezy AMD64 an iceweasel 'release Channel' from mozilla.debian.net

Created a package using: make-jpkg jre-7u45-linux-x64.tar.gz

when installed it, updated alternatives, it has created the browser's plugin link on:
/usr/lib/iceweasel/plugins/libjavaplugin.so -> ....
Then iceweasel did not list it on about:plugins

But...

if i create a symlink on /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin.so -> .... it works as expected.
(both symlinks points to same dest)

the question: is this an issue of jacka-package or should i talk with the iceweasel team?

thanks!

Sorry that we cannot help. This is a question platform for Ubuntu, and according to what you wrote you are running a Debian system. Even if Ubuntu is derived from Debian, there are differences that make it impossible for us to provide support. Please refer to a Debian forum.

Debian is not supported here, this is Ubutnu support only. Debian has it's own support channels and community. I suggest you post here
http://forums.debian.net/

Can you help with this problem?
