Update jabref to 2.4 or 2.5

Hi all,
I was wondering when the next jabref update is planned. There are some features in it (e.g., support for a open office plugin http://www.itk.ntnu.no/ansatte/Alver_Omholt_Morten/jabref/OOPlugin.html) that require a higher version.

Hi,

Thanks for the link, I was aware that I can get the new versions via other means. I was just wondering when these versions are planned to be added to the ubuntu packages. Or is jabref not actively maintained?

If you take a look here:

https://launchpad.net/~onkarshinde/+ppa-packages

you can see that the last ppa Ubuntu package for jabref was created/modified on 2008-11-23

The version of that package is 2.3.1-6ubuntu1~ppa1

So I do not think it is being actively maintained...
