Install on latest package from Lucid to Hardy

Asked by Raghu Udiyar

Is it possible to just download the latest .deb which is available in Lucid repo and install in Hardy? Or is it trivial to back-port this to Hardy.

The release on Hardy does not have some basic features such as deleting SA's and manipulating individual Tunnels. It would be great if I could install the latest version.

Thanks

this site gives you the packages: http://packages.ubuntu.com/nl/lucid/
but be careful installing software from lucid. It isn' t even apha....(afaik)
indeed proposed or backport packages or the way to install the newest/beta software....(also not without risk)

Can you help with this problem?
