Inkscape 0.47 final released

Hi!

Inkscape 0.47 final has been released.

The actual inkscape version in Ubuntu rep is Inkscape 0.47pre4 from 20 Oct. Will Ubuntu "packagers" update to this -stable- version?

Shows 0.49pre3. You could contact the PPA maintainer directly and ask what's going on.

Hi,

(I think you should say 0.47pre3).

The version in ubuntu reps is the pre4: you can see here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+source/inkscape
and in the inkscape "daily" build is pre3 (released in 28 Sep).

I will tell to the inkscape "daily" build to update its package to last version. But... the ideal, in my opinion, is update the inkscape Ubuntu rep package to the final release because inkscape is a pre (RC, alfa, beta, or something)

If you contact the maintainer, they may compile it and put it up there

The maintainer of which rep? The maintainer of inkscape daily build or one of the ubuntu's repos?
