Implementing a Bug Fix

Asked by James Morris

Hello,

I have been having an issue when trying to adjust kerning on a font I am designing. Looking into it I found a fix that I downloaded. Now the problem is that I don't know what to do with the fix file from there. Help please.

I already have the fix downloaded, but now I have a file with some
programming language in my downloads folder, but I don't know what to do
with the file to make it part of Inkscape or make Inkscape refer to it.

Please provide more information:

Which operating system are you running and which operating system release?
Which version of inkscape are you running?
What is the fix that you want to apply, from where did you get it, and aren't there any instructions how to apply it?
