Audio Switch

It would be nice to have a fast way to switch the audio output (maybe the input too). For example to switching from normal output to HDMI or Bluetooth. This would be perfect for the indicator. Is this possible?

You mean it should be displayed right away in the menu of indicator-sound instead of preferences?
If yes, maybe post the idea there to get attention.
