digital clocks messed i need the time

before i installed this system on my computer just running from live cd 11.04 it had the time and now that its installed it counts up from something and the time is not displayed i tryed for months to fix this with reloding the system and many other things. ive seen it from 23 to 0 sometimes 13 or 17 i dont know what its doing but i cant find the error. please help me mabie i have to reinsall the clock or somting. only one that works is fuzzy time but its not the right minite. please tell me what setting or clock or relode that i have to do to get the clock to work. i need to know what time it is from noon on. cause it has the right time in the morning but now after lunch. but it doesnt say am like all my other clocks do. i need help.

You're set to use the 24 hour clock display. Right click on the clock, select preferences, and click the radio button for 12 hour clock.

Fuzzy time does not display the precise minutes, that's why it's "fuzzy" It displays time to the nearest 5 minutes as in "quarter past", "twenty past" "twenty five past" and so on.
