precise (Ubuntu 12.04) ppa:artfwo/ppa gone?

Asked by Pyppe

Hi.

Suddenly it seems precise-version of ppa:artfwo/ppa is gone? Here's the error messages from update-manager:

W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/artfwo/ppa/ubuntu/dists/precise/main/source/Sources 404 Not Found
, W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/artfwo/ppa/ubuntu/dists/precise/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not Found
, W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/artfwo/ppa/ubuntu/dists/precise/main/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not Found
, E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Do you know, what has happened? :O

Simple

The PPA doesn't support precise. A quick browse to:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/artfwo/ppa/ubuntu/dists/

Would show you that

Yeah, but I haven't changed any repositories, and I have a clean install of precise. Wonder how I was able to install it in the first place. :)

But if the fact is that no precise-version repo has ever existed, then it must be that I previously used Oneiric -repo, and somehow Ubuntu has upgraded the repo to (non-existing) Precise-version by itself?
