Menu indicator applet missing in Ubuntu Classic

Asked by Andrew Williams

After performing a recent update, I have lost the classic menu indicator applet from the taskbar in Ubuntu Classic (11.04).
It works when I log into Ubuntu (Unity) but is completely missing in Ubuntu Classic, which is the layout I prefer.
Can someone advise me how to get it back, thanks, Andrew Williams, Australia.

Right-click on the panel where you want the left edge of the appmenu-indicator to be (you probably want this at the very left side of the top panel). Click "Add to panel...". Select Indicator Applet Appmenu. (Source: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1729486)

Thankyou! The one I needed to add to the panel was Indicator applet complete, usually sits at right hand side.
