Is there any interest in porting ikea (ike gui) to qt4?

As per subject.
In the event I find the time to do the porting on my own, will Ubuntu be interested in distributing/updating the sources?
I plan to port the ikea client to qt4 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Ubuntu is taking over most software (including ike) from Debian.
According to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=676896 Debian has decided to abandon to provide ike in their reponsitories, because that package seems unmaintained.

The better solution would be that someone restarts working on ike in a way that Debian re-accepts that package, and Ubuntu would most follow suit.
