Replacement for deprecated ia32-libs in 13.10

Asked by Florian M.

ia32-libs is deprecated and has been removed from Ubuntu 13.10 depositories. What is their replacement? If there is none, is there a list of packages that can be installed to have the same effect as installing the metapackage ia32-libs back in 13.04?

@actionparsnip: the removal of ia32-libs was planned, so it's not a bug. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MultiArch

If you need a 32-bit package, you can easily install it like so:
sudo apt-get install libbluetooth3:i386

As for the former packages ia32-libs installed, there's a list here, but if you installed all of them, you;d end up with a lot of unnecessary cruft: http://packages.ubuntu.com/raring/ia32-libs-multiarch

Can you help with this problem?
